Taiwanese laptop maker, Acer has launched an all-new laptop for the Indian market. The new laptop named Acer Swift X was launched on Tuesday, September 7th.
Acer Swift X laptop is a lightweight laptop, weighing 1.39 kgs, which is just 1.75 mm in thickness. The laptop has an all-metal chassis and comes in various colours.
The new Acer laptop is on sale in the Indian market at a price point of Rs 84,999. The laptop is already available on Acer’s own online store, and it is said to be available on e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Acer Exclusive stores, Vijay Sales, and other authorised retail stores.
In terms of specification, the new Acer laptop hosts the latest AMD Ryzen 5 5600U mobile processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
The laptop has a 14 inch (1,920x1080 pixels) full-HD IPS display that has 100% sRGB coverage, 85.7 % screen-to-body ratio, and 300 nits of peak brightness.
The Acer Swift X laptop can be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2 TB SSD storage. As for the battery life, it is claimed to have a 10-hour battery life, backed with a 59W battery and features fast charging support.
It has multiple ports, which also includes a full-functioning USB C-Type port apart from the general HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone/ mic jack. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, a fingerprint sensor, AI-enhanced sound suppression for smoother video calls, and Acer BlueLightShield technology, which helps to lessen eye strain during long sessions.
The Acer Swift X laptop maximises cooling efficiency with dual D6 copper heat pipes and optimises thermal performance with a 59-bladed fan. The keyboard is also designed with air inlets, which furthers the expulsion of heat, allowing an 8-10% boost to the thermal performance, compared to a keyboard design without air inlet.
