India reported 3,320 new Covid-19 cases in past 24 hours, Coronavirus cases in India very close to 60,000

In India 3,320 new cases of Covid-19 infection have been reported in past 24 hours raising the total patient count to 59,662. According to the data released by Health Ministry the confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 59,662. The active cases of Covid-19 remain at 39,834, while 1,981 people died so far due to deadly Coronavirus. Over 17,847 people have been cured or discharged in the country. In past 24 hours over 95 people died due to Coronavirus infection.

Maharashtra is most affected state in the country with over 37 deaths in past 24 hours, the total Covid-19 cases increased to 19,063 in the Maharashtra. Here over 1,000 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been reported. The total deaths stand more than 700 in the state.

The cases of Covid-19 are increasing all over the India, while Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and West Bengal report several new cases in past 24 hours.

Tamil Nadu reported 600 new cases in past 24 hours; this is the biggest count of per day cases in the state.  There are total of 6,009 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Tamil Nadu.

Gujarat reported more than 300 confirmed new cases in past 24 hours raising the total count of confirmed cases to 6,318.

The director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said that the Covid-19 pandemic may not peak yet and it might reach in the peak state between June and July. But there is still no prediction about the number of cases during the Covid-19 peak in the country and it might depend on the effectiveness of social distancing and containment measures being followed by the people of India. This is one of the warning signals for the people of India.

Further, Health Ministry on Friday said that the people of India have to learn to live with coronavirus. “We will have to learn to live with virus. All practices should implemented as behavioral change,“ said Luv Agarwal during media briefing.

There is change in the discharge policy of the Covid-19 patients, now Covid-19 with severe cases will be tested before discharge by the Covid-19 care facility. The new rule come into effect as India predicts the peak in cases in June-July based on the mathematical model.

The Nashik district of Maharashtra reported 50 new cases of Covid-19 cases raising the total cases to 622. As per the authorities 49 of 50 new patients are from Malegaon and one from Nashik city.

Globally over 3,939,281 people are infected with the Coronavirus while 274,917 people died so far due to Covid-19 deadly infection. In the United States total confirmed cases of Covid-19 reaches 1,283,929 and over 77,180 died. Other countries including Spain, Italy, UK, Russia, France, Germany and other also affected badly with the Covid-19 virus.

There are no vaccines or effective medicine against Covid-19 virus. Researches are going on to develop effective medicine against Coronavirus. United States developed Remdesivir medicine against covid-19 which is approved in US and Japan. US are in contact with India for the mass production of Remdesivir medicine in India.
