Mumbai: Vidya Balan and Divya Dutta recently shared the stage for a panel discussion on women empowerment at the Lokmat Women's Summit in Pune.
Divya was at the event to promote her book me & Ma which centers on the beautiful bond between her and her mother. She personally handed over the book to Vidya Balan at the summit.
As can be seen in the pictures, one can't help but notice the uncanny resemblance between their appearances. Ranging from their saree to their rounded jhumkas, both of them were looking absolutely gorgeous. Not to forget the cute purple and red bindis they had put on, which looked similar too.
Why just stop at their looks? Even their names, Vidya and Divya bear striking similarities! The duo's contribution towards Indian Cinema has been quite commendable.
Whether it's Vidya Balan in Dirty Picture, Ishqiya or her upcoming release Begum Jaan and Divya Dutta in her recent projects such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag or Badlapur for that matter, both women with their career defining choices have been the true embodiment of strength and resilience.
We wish to see more of this Vidya-Divya pairing at such events and hopefully soon on the big screen as well!
