Gunfights between the security forces and terrorists were seen in Kashmir these days and the infiltration by terrorists in Indian border is continuously reported after the surgical strike was performed by the Indian security forces. The security forces performed an operation following a tip-off about the presence of a wanted LeT commander, which ended after the killing of militant.
While performing an operation the security forces targeted a top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and killed him in a gunfight in Kashmir's Badgam district.
According to police, an operation was launched by the security forces following a tip-off about the presence of a wanted LeT commander hiding in the Gulzarpora village. When the security forces reached the place of hiding of LeT commander, they were fired and then an encounter was started.
According to the police, “The security forces were fired upon after they closed on the house where Muzaffar Ahmad Naiku ali alias Muza Molvi was hiding.” The Police further described, “the militant was killed in the encounter which has ended now.”
Police also said that the search operations by the security forces are carried on, “Searches are still going on in the area.”
Describing about the militant, the police said the slain commander was one of the longest surviving militants and the most wanted guerrilla in Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces killed one more militant and successfully destroyed another plan of terrorists to harm India.
These all terrorists’ activities ignited after the surgical attack done by Indian military after the Uri attacks and attacks on the Indian airbase of Pathankot. The killing of top LeT commander is considered as big achievement for the security forces.
