Adding another device to the budgeted category, LG has launched Aristo, a smartphone for sale on T-Mobile and MetroPCS. The new phone will be priced at a real low and will be laden with some really decent features.
LG Aristo has a 5-inch HD In-Cell display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The 24 bit panel has a pixel density of around 294ppi. It packs a primary camera of 13 MP and secondary camera of 5 MP, both being capable of video recording at the speed of 30 fps. The front shooter includes features such as Face Detection, Auto Focus and Digital Zoom among others for better picture quality. Not to forget the front camera, that has Selfie Light, Auto Shot and Gesture Interval Shot for producing a gem of a selfie.
The phone is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 chipset clocked 1.4 GHz. The ARM Cortex A-53 CPU coupled with Adreno 308 GPU is reasonable for getting a work done, unless u don’t have some high-intensity tech work to take care of. The handset is embedded with 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable built-in storage along with a battery of 2410 mAh. Other significant specs that the new LG device has are- fingerprint scanner at the back, VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and FM Radio.
Although the specifications of LG Aristo are not so unique, they are certainly more than one can ask for, from a low-cost phone. The major highlight of the handset is the operating system it uses. Yes, the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and that is absolutely a winning bet. Moreover, the camera clarity, remarkable display, 4G enablement adds to the beauty of the silver encasing and vertically striped back. Aristo can be availed on MetroPCS from 23rd January onwards on pre-payment basis at $59 with instant rebate. It is headed for the T-Mobile on 25th January with a price tag of $144 or $0 and $6 per month till 24 months. The ‘Uncarrier’ has also announced special limited period discount of 25% on buying the phone, a screen protector and a Tech21 case all at once.
