New York, Sat, 22 Jan 2011 ANI

New York, Jan 22 (ANI): A man of Pakistani-origin, who is accused of stalking John F. Kennedy 's granddaughter, is not violent or dangerous, his lawyer has said.

The jailed loner, Naeem Ahmed, is accused of bombarding Caroline Kennedy's daughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, 20, with dozens of e-card greetings, flowers and balloons.

Ahmed, 41, will remain behind bars pending a second doctor's exam to see if he can comprehend why he was busted.

"He only sent love, he doesn't understand why he's here - that is why they ordered (a second) exam," the New York Daily News quoted lawyer Gerald Hertz as saying.

"When you are dealing with the type of family we have here, everyone wants to be super careful," the lawyer said.

An initial psychiatric exam determined Ahmed, is not dangerous, but that he could benefit from medication and therapy, Hertz said. (ANI)
