Lenovo is on a roll these days, one after the other the Chinese smartphone maker is busy releasing budget devices with premium features.
Of late, it came with highly hyped and talked about devices which include, Moto Z Play, MotoMod, Hasselblad Yogas, all of which were the premium devices. Along this line, Lenovo even released some reasonably priced mid-rangers – one among them being the K6 series.
In the K6 family, we will find three models: plain Lenovo K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note, and interestingly, three of them almost share the same specifications and features. Let us here check out what features these three have in common and how exactly they differ from one another.
Specifications
Let us start with the processor first, in this section, the three Lenovo devices share the same Snapdragon 430 chipset with an octa-core CPU 4 Cortex-A53 cores which is clocked at 1.5GHz, and 4 capped at 1.2GHz. Talking about storage, Lenovo K6 proper sports 2GB of RAM, and has either 16GB or 32GB of storage.
K6 Power has 2GB/16GB as well as 3GB/32GB, whereas K6 Note has 32GB of internal storage, the RAM status is somewhere between 3GB or 4GB. The good thing is that all the three variants have the provision for memory expansion through microSD cards.
Display
Moving on to the dispay,K6 and K6 Power share the same 5-inch displays, whilst K6 Note, which is more of a phablet amidst the group, has 5.5 inch; all the three have FullHD resolution. The K6 is powered by a 3,000mAh battery; K6 Power has 4,000mAh, which is common for K6 Note as well.
Camera
The Lenovo K6 and K6 Power share the same 13MP main camera, K6 Note is a premium one of the three and thus has 16MP, as well as features like phase detection autofocus. The selfie camera is same in all three of them, which is 8MP.
Connectivity
All three Lenovo models support dual-SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n (no ac), LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Each of them has fingerprint sensor at the back, plus Dolby Atmos certification. All the three have Android Marshmallow, which is likely to get replaced in near future.
The three models share the price range €150-€230 in Europe, and it would depend on the model as well storage option. Of the three, it will be the K6 to get the earliest release. The K6 Power and Note are expected to arrive in November while K6 would be available in the next two weeks.
