HTC recently launched its One A9s, and now the smartphone company has hinted at the launch of its Desire 10 series. The information on the same was made available on Twitter by HTC. It is notable that HTC's One A9s came as the upgraded version of its earlier released the A9. However, in the features and specifications that was revealed of HTC One A9s, there weren't any noticeable upgrades that could make the device stand out.
But HTC holds the claim that its One A9s will impress the target consumers and fare well in the market. And while, we are yet to receive an update on that device, here we have the new model onboard. However, the Desire series have been known to be compatible and user friendly devices with striking look and feel.
As per the teaser revealed by HTC on Twitter, HTC Desire 10 series would likely be made available on September 20. It will be launching Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro, on the said date.
The teaser hints at the smartphone sporting a metal body which resembles Desire 10 Pro which was leaked earlier in August. Other than the Desire 10 Pro, Desire 10 Lifestyle too was leaked which made it clear that HTC is likely to release both of these smartphones on September 20.
HTC Desire 10 series would be out on September 20, but for now we can surely have a quick look at the two devices.
Desire 10 Series Overview
The Desire 10 is going to be launched in two models - HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC Desire 10 Pro. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is said to have 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, with Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SoC.
For storage, it will have two inbuilt storage - one with 3GB of RAM/ 32GB of storage while the other will have 2GB of RAM/ 16GB of storage. It comes with 13 MP camera alongside BSI sensor and single-LED flash. It provides 5 MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording. The device is said to be made available in solid matte color choices, and supposedly sustain Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers with 24-bit system audio.
HTC Desire 10 Pro will be the premium version of the other two models, and is touted to have high and more upgraded features. Price for the two devices has yet not been revealed but we can surely expect them to be in the mid range section.
It is yet to be seen as to when HTC unveils the details of its premium Desire series. For now we can only wait for the price and a couple more features to be unveiled.
