South Korean tech giant, Samsung surely knows how to up the game and secure an edge over others. It's one smartphone manufacturing company that targets every section of users. With its high-end devices such as Note 7, Samsung gets to target the premium device lovers, while its other series cater to the budget device lovers.

Buzz has it that Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy On8 in the Indian market. The launch happened on September 27, and it comes after months of teasing from the ends of the South Korean technology giant.
Galaxy On8 At A Glance
The all new Samsung Galaxy On8 comes with a first-class brushed metal coat on the back complemented high ranking alloy-based diamond cut framework on the edges. The device comes sporting 5.5-inch full HD display (1920x1080p) display which is said to have a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy On8 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is packed by 1.6GHz octa-core processor, teamed with 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB. At the camera front, the device offers 13MP camera which sports a LED flash on the back. For selfies, it comes with a 5MP camera on the front which has out-and-out LED flash. The Galaxy On8 is backed by 3,300mAh battery. It extends support to 4G-LTE with VoLTE (Voice-over-LTE). The device also has Dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Ultra Data Saving mode, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, and the S bike mode.
Earlier there were reports that Samsung would launch the device at the Big Billion Days sale held by Flipkart, commencing on October 1. However, surprisingly, the device got launched officially far ahead and now it's been said that Galaxy On8 will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting October 2 at a price of Rs. 15,900. You can buy this new device in the shades of: black, gold and white.
Competition For Samsung Galaxy On8
Samsung Galaxy On8 is decked with amazing features and is one device that perfectly fits the budget category. At this price, the device will be facing some tough competition from the likes of well-liked Moto G4 series, Lenovo K5 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, and LeEco Le 2.
