When the South Korean tech giant, Samsung had first launched its premium device; the Galaxy Note 7 - it would have never thought of trouble coming in.
The device, which boasts of some high-end features and was compared to Apple's iPhone 7, has been in trouble since its release. Samsung had launched it amidst much fanfare and a lot of hype. But nothing has gone in its favor much it seems.
Just few weeks back we had reported about the global recall of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The reason being its battery catching fire, many users had complaint of Note 7 battery catching fire and some minor casualties were also reported. Samsung however took timely action and immediately recalled all the Note 7 devices from the market. In fact, its Indian release was put on hold. Samsung had promised that it will work on the error and launch the device soon.
Soon after, Samsung did manage to restore Galaxy Note 7 batteries globally. In a statement the company had announced that the battery was catching fire because of some software error. It was assured that the problem has been fixed and the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was free of any errors.
The Fresh Trouble
Well, all this just seems to be mere talks as the problem has been reported to be still persisting as some of buyers have complaint of Note 7 battery getting overheated and exhausting quickly.
Buzz from the device users in South Korea has stated that even the replacement batteries are overheating and draining power quickly. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal. If there stands any truth in the reports then Samsung will have to replace the battery over again.
For those unaware, Samsung had started the re-launch of Galaxy Note 7 in quite a few markets after correcting the defective battery. There were even reports of the device launching in India on the September 2 but then due to the recall, it was cancelled. And after the re-launch, Samsung had decided to first test the device in the home ground. The next launch in Indian market was planned around October 7 following the festive season.
But looks like this new update about the battery may delay it further.
Keeping aside the rumors and speculations, one can note that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 indeed happens to be a premium device with striking features. The device comes with 3,500mAh battery made by Samsung SDI. It sports 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen which has 1,440x2,560 pixels (518 ppi pixel density).
