We had earlier told you that Chinese smartphone brand, Xiaomi, was heard to be gearing up for launching another of its premium device - the Mi Note 2. The said device had been in work for nearly a month, and was rumored to release on September 14.
In the beginning, Xiaomi was busy releasing teasers about the Mi Note 2 but it refrained from giving any details about the release of the device. Then reports started doing rounds that the upcoming smartphone would release on September 14. This news went wild after sources come across some leaked pictures of the Mi Note 2.
From the images, it was clear that the all new Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was cleared by Chinese CCC (China Compulsory Certification) authority. All it needed then was the certification from TENAA which is customary to obtain for smartphone release in China. And it seems that this certification is what has caused trouble for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Changing it earlier expected release date of September 14, Mi Note 2 is said to be now releasing after almost a gap of 10 days. It is now rumored that the device would most probably get launched on September 24. But then, this too is merely a speculation and nothing can be said surely unless TENAA passes on the certification.
Anyways, while we wait t get the confirmations on Xiaomi Mi Note 2 release; let us check its features in detail and find out what the phone will offer once it gets released.
Specifications & Features
From the sources and updates that we have got till now, it has been learnt that the new Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will have two models. One variant of the device will sport 64GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM - as for the price; it will be available for 2,499 Yuan.
The other model will have 128GB internal storage complemented by 6GB RAM, which is said to be available for 2,799 Yuan.
Revealing other features of the device, sources stated that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch 2K dual curved display full metal body. It would be backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.
The device would run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. In the additional feature category, the device is said to come with fingerprint scanner, and a Force Touch support.
Coming to the camera part, the device is said to be having a 12MP dual camera, supported by 3,600mAh battery which will be decked with the Quick Charge technology.
In the meantime, it is also heard that Xiaomi will be launching another model which will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and complemented with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM called Mi Note 2. Its upgraded version would be named Mi Note 2 Pro. This model will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821processor. It will have expandable 128GB storage with GB RAM.
The two models will further share similar features such as the primary camera of 16MP which will be decked with the 4 axis OIS and dual LED flash, whereas the two variants would house 4,000mAh battery.
It has been a long wait for Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and we do hope that the smartphone finally makes an entry on the supposed date!
