Well, looks like we'll are going to be spoilt with choices given the so many smartphones being announced every day. The latest offering being from Huawei, the brand is said to have announced some new flagships.
To begin with, we have the Huawei Nova Plus, and then we have smaller Nova similar to mini Nexus 6P. And the actual successor - Huawei MeidaPad M3.
So, without much ado, let us have a look at all these flagships and understand what each brings in for us as users.
Huawei Nova Plus
The new Huawei Nova Plus has aircraft-grade aluminum morphed into a form quite suggestive of the Mate S. It has 5.5" screen which again stands true to its familiarity with the other device, with the only difference being that it doesn't have AMOLED screen. The device has 4,000mAh, whereas it was 2,700mAh for Mate S.
Coming to the camera, Nova Plus has 16MP sensor. For selfies, it has 8MP front camera. It has the USB Type-C connectors, runs on Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has hybrid dual-SIM design. The device is expected to launch alongside the usual Nova in September at price of €430.
Huawei Nova
As we said, this one is also made of aircraft-grade aluminum, but this device is more compact as compared to the other two. Huawei Nova sports 5" 1080p screen with IPS LCD that is said to accept knuckle gestures.
It has a primary camera of 12MP sensor which has large pixels (1.5µm) and phase-detection autofocus. It is even capable of recording 4K video. As for battery, the device has 3,020mAh battery and features competent Snapdragon 625 chipset (14nm). Sources report that the device will be made available in Europe in September at a price of €400.
Huawei MediaPad M3
Last but not the least; we have the Huawei MediaPad M3 which has slender bezels which we had seen in M2 as well. However, it has a bigger screen which is sharper as well with 8.4" backed by QHD resolution. You will find finely tuned speakers plus audio engineers that have additional mechanical equalizer which is capable of adjusting to the music as played.
The features are part of an aluminum casing, with fingerprint reader preset at the front and inside; along with a Kirin 950 chipset which gives upgraded performance. The device is available at €350 and has 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
