Samsung seems to be going cautious with all its devices. Buzz has it that the South Korean company has put a hold on it’s yet to release Galaxy A8 (2016), citing performance-testing.
However, some of the key features of the device have got revealed which is sure to excite you over this new device from Samsung. The leaked specifications surfaced when the device was seen on AnTuTu, a product description website. A model with number SM-A810F was spotted which assumed to be the unreleased Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016).
Specifications Of A8 (2016)
The device is said to be sporting full HD (1920x1080p) display and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which is powered by Samsung's proprietary- the Exynos 7420 octa-core CPU. It has Mali-T760 graphics engine, with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
At the camera front, the device has 8MP main sensor and 5MP selfie camera. It is notable that the aforesaid details of Galaxy A8 (2016) say the opposite to the preceding reports in regards to two aspects - one is the main camera and the second is storage.
Earlier, it was revealed that Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) will have 16MP main camera and 32GB of, and the models number as spotted was SM-A810F, seen on GFXbench.
Well, it can be assumed that the two devices are variants of Galaxy A8 (2016). Generally it is known that Samsung and manufactures like it create numerous units of the similar device and finalize the version for release based on test results. It has been revealed that the test would get over soon and we will get an official word about A8 (2016) release. The predecessor of the device had made an entrance in July 2015. The new Galaxy A8 (2016) is anticipated to make an emergence in September or in October.
Highlighting some more features of the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016), it is stated that it will have 5.7-inch super AMOLED full HD (1920x1080p) screen, with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow clocked at Samsung Exynos 7420 octa-core CPU. It will have GPU Mali-T760, with 3GB of RAM and storage of 32GB or 64GB. The device will measure 156.5 x 77.5 x 7.3 mm.
Samsung is already facing flak for its high profile Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and as we know, all the Note 7 devices have been recalled citing the battery problem.
This might be the reason that Samsung is delaying the release of its A8 (2016). Well, we do hope that the device sees the daylight soon!
