1. Akira
The month will begin with an action thriller, centered on a female character. Sonakshi Sinha will give you the thrills with Akira, where she plays the title role. The film is directed by Ghajini and Holiday fame, AR Murugadoss. It is the remake of a 2011 Tamil film, Mouna Guru, which had a male lead playing the central character. The music of the film has been helmed by talented duo, Vishal-Shekhar, and also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles. Akira will release on September 2, so don't miss to watch this action thriller.

2. Baar Baar Dekho
If you are a fan of romcoms, September is a delight as it brings you the much awaited Baar Baar Dekho starring the stunning Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles. The film marks the directorial debut of Nitya Mehra. Film's music is given by Amaal Mallik, Jasleen Royal, Arko, Badshah and Bilal Saeed. Its first song Kala Chashma received great response from the audience and is still viral online. Based on time travel blended with romance, the film with an array of star cast will release on September 9.

3. Freaky Ali
We have seen many films on sports, but this month you will sports with a flavor of romance and comedy as Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes you on a fun ride with his Freaky Ali. It is directed, produced and written by Sohail Khan, and co-produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip.
The film is being presented by Salman Khan, and is said to be loosely inspired by Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore which was released in 1996. Freaky Ali's trailer has been very impressive, where we see Arbaaz Khan, and Amy Jackson alongside Nawazuddin. The film will hit the screens on September 9.

4. Raaz Reboot
Raaz is back with Raaz Reboot where we will have the serial kisser of town, Emraan Hashmi playing the lead alongside the beautiful, Kriti Kharbandain. The fourth installment in the much loved Raaz series, Raaz Reboot has been majorly shot in Romania. Its music has been helmed by Jeet Gannguli along with Sangeet Siddharth. The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt, and would hit the screens on September 16.

5. Pink
While on one hand you'll have the spooky Raaz Reboot, on the other you will be entertained by a mysterious court room drama – Pink. The film involving around women has Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari playing the lead roles alongside the epitome of acting, Amitabh Bachchan. It also stars, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Piyush Mishra. The film is directed and produced by Shoojit Sircar, and the trailer has already impressed the masses. It will release on September 16.

6. Banjo
Banjo is a musical drama starring Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles alongside Dance Indian Dance, and ABCD 1&2 fame Dharmesh. The film marks the directorial debut of Ravi Jadhav, who has made entertaining Marathi movies such as Balak Palak, Timepass, Timepass 2 and Natarang. The film will hit the screens on September 23.

7. M.S. Dhoni
MS Dhoni - The Untold Story is a biographical film helmed by Neeraj Pandey, and is based on the life of famous Indian cricketer and Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film has Sushant Singh Rajput playing the lead role and it also stars Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher. The film highlights the struggles and ups & downs of Dhoni, and how he went on to become a big name in the world of cricket. The trailer launch happened amdist much fanfare and it's being loved by the masses. The film will release on September 30.

8. Manmarziyan
Last but surely not the least, we have Manmarziyan which brings the much loved Dum Lagake Haisha couple, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar back onscreen. It is directed by Sameer Sharma and is produced by Anand L. Rai. The film is said to be love triangle as it also has Masaan fame actor Vicky Kaushal as the third lead. The film has a Punjabi backdrop, and everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of its trailer. The film is expected to release on September 30.
