Motorola is back in the game, and over the past few months we have seen the once technology giant vying hard to get back on the number one spot.
It's now known to all that Motorola is owned by Lenovo, and this collaboration has made Motorola bounce back in competition. It has been rolling out stunning devices promising high-end features, durability and incredible user experience.
Of late, Motorola has been teasing its followers with a mystery phone that as per the company claims boasts of a long battery life. It was only last weekend that we had come across such teasers from the company. A smartphone with longer battery life is surely a feat, given the fact that every user around now wants to have a smartphone that offers durable battery. After camera, battery has become the major concern for smartphone users.
Well, coming back to the device in question; it's now official from the ends of Motorola that they will be soon launching a device under their Moto G series, which will be affordable and have long battery life too. It has been named as Moto G4 Play, and will release in the Indian market on September 6.
Release And Features Of Moto G4 Play
As stated, the smartphone will make it official availability on September 6, and it will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
For the uninitiated, the all new Moto G4 Play was at first unveiled with Moto G4 and its high-end model, the G4 Plus, in May 2016. However, the devices were made constraint to the U.S. market only. But not anymore, as soon we will have the Moto G4 Play on Amazon India.
And before you make the investment, let us explore the Moto G4 Play a bit and understand its features in a nutshell.
Given the latest updates, the Moto G4 Play happens to be a toned down version of the company's base model, the Moto G4. As you might be aware of, the Moto G4 has 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display, clocked at Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, with 13MP camera on the back and a 3000mAh battery. Its altered version, the Moto G4 Play sports 5.0-inch screen with HD (1280x720p) resolution, clocked at Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core CPU, with primary camera of 8MP and a 2800mAh battery.
Both the devices shares the same 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage up to 128 GB, and selfies camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture, display flash. Also, both of them run on the same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow; support the 4G-LTE.
With Moto G4 Play, Motorola will have three major smartphones in the G series wherein each caters to different sections of users. The Moto G4 Play is expected to be available for a price of Rs. 8,999.
So, far the G series have received an overwhelming response from the market. It would be interesting to see how G4 Play would fare and win over the users.
