Xiaomi is on a roll these days with the Chinese smartphone maker unveiling one flagship after the other. As per the latest updates, Xiaomi is geared up for the release of Mi Note 2. It's notable that its Redmi Note 4 has now been released in China.
This new proposed device is coming after nearly a year post its predecessor was released. So far Xiaomi has stayed mum over the reports. However, sources reveal that Mi Note 2 is most probable to launch on September 5.

Look & Feel
First and foremost, it has been learnt that Mi Note 2 will have four models. If one has to go by the leaked images that surfaced online, the pictures reveal quite a lot about Mi Note 2 and its expected features.
Going by the images, Mi Note 2 is likely to sport a flat screen with curved display and it would run Xiaomi MIUI ROM operating system. It will even possess fingerprint scanner and dual rear cameras.
Storage
Earlier there was news that the new model of Mi Note 2 will be made available in two variants, one will have 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and will cost 2,499 Yuan. While the other one was predicted to have 128GB internal memory along with 6GB RAM, and would cost 2,799 Yuan. Also, its specifications are anticipated to be more influential than the Mi 5.
Specifications & Features
Some other reports suggest that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is to sport a metal body, with fingerprint sensor, a Force Touch support, 5.7-inch 2K dual curved display, backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The device will have 64/128GB internal memory, 4/6GB RAM, a 12MP dual camera, and a 3,600mAh battery backed by Quick Charge technology.
It is to note that, the Xiaomi Mi Note model which was released in January 2015 measured 155.1x77.6x7 mm in dimension, weighed 161 g, and sported a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (386 ppi pixel density).
Under the hood, it has been projected that the device is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It will have Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system backed by 16/64GB internal memory with no space for microSD card slot. It will have 3GB RAM with 3MP primary camera backed by f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, OIS and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. As for selfies, it will have 4MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3'' sensor size and 2µm pixel size, and a 3,000mAh battery.
The features do sound interesting. But for now, it's all on paper and we can't be certain unless the device sees the daylight. It won't take long as well because Mi Note 2 will most probably be launched on September 5 only. And once it's out, we will have more idea about the features and specifications.
