It has been reported that smartphone maker, Asus will soon be releasing its ZenFone 3 along with ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra somewhere in July or beginning of August.
Quite a few details, like the specifications and pricing of the new handset were discolsed at the Computex 2016 event held in Taipei in June. The new device surely appears to be a decent one with remarkable features.
Nonetheless, it will have to fight with more than a few mid-range devices like Moto G4 Plus and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) to enjoy a strong foothold in the Indian market.
ZenFone 3 price starts at $249 (approximately €224/Rs. 16,800), and at this price, it’ll probably give competition to Galaxy J7 (2016), which costs Rs. 15,990, and Moto G4 Plus, that is priced at Rs. 13,499 (approximately $199) for its 16GB storage and 2GB RAM model, and Rs. 14,999 (roughly $221) for the 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM variant.
Isn’t a tough choice to make? Well, not anymore as the following detailed description will surely make life easier for you.

Storage
ZenFone 3 is available in two models but it’s only the 32GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB and 3GB RAM model that can compete with Moto G4 Plus, which has similar features. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is packed with a 16GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 128GB through microSD card, and a 3GB RAM.
Camera
Moto G4 Plus houses a 16MP camera backed by f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), OmniVision Pure Cel Plus sensor, and dual-LED flash, alongside 5MP front-camera with wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture, whereas Asus ZenFone 3 sports a 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, OIS, and 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
