Pulkit And Yami To Recreate Sanam Re Magic With Junooniyat!
If you're an avid lover of romantic Bollywood films then you're in store for one treat through Junooniyat. It's an upcoming romantic movie starring the Sanam Re fame Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam. It is directed by Vivek Agnihotri, produced by Bhushan Kumar and written by Vivek Agnihotri and Priti Singh.
The film is busy with marketing and is rolling out interesting teasers. Slated for a June 24 release, it is expected to bring back the lovey-dovey romance back. It is to note that Pulkit and Yami's last outing, Sanam Re, which was a Valentine release failed to live up to the expectations. And now their fans are hoping for a successful hit with Junooniyat. Let us dwell deep into the film and get to know it more closely.
Plot: Junooniyat is about the story of a soldier, who hails from a Punjabi Family and while working on a mission, he rescues a female army officer. Love happens at first sight and as they return back to their respective families, it gets more complicated than ever. Yami's character is shown getting married to someone else as she gets separated from Pulkit. It's to be watched whether or not they meet in the end.
Cast: Pulkit and Yami play the lead couple and are seen essaying the roles of Jahan Bakshi and Suhani Kapoor respectively. Hunterrr fame Gulshan Devaiah has a cameo appearance in the film alongside Hrishitaa Bhatt.
Production: The main photography of Junnoniyat started in November 2014. The shooting kick started in the same month in the beautiful Kashmir valley followed by Amritsar. Second schedule happened in the month of March 2016 in Patiala, Chail and in Shimla. Some parts of it was shot in Sonamarg, an alpine valley situated at the bank of Nallah Sindh, which is 87 km north-east from Srinagar. Film's choreography is done by Vijay Ganguly, a protege of Shaimak Davar.
Music: The film's music was handpicked by Bhushan Kumar & Vivek Agnihotri. It is said that took nearly 9 months to final the music for the film. Touted to be an intense love journey, its music has been composed by Ankit Tiwari, Meet bros and Jeet Ganguly. The background score is given by Raju Singh while the lyrics are penned by Kumaar, Rashmi Virag & Manoj Muntashir. There are six tracks in total sung in the voices of Falak Shabir, Armaan Mailk, Ankit Tiwari, Tulsi Kumar, Neeraj Shridhar, Shrey SInghal, Akriti Kakkar, Khushboo Grewal and Meet Bros.
Trailer Analysis and Release: The film's official trailer is out and it features Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam together. Trailer kick starts featuring how Pulkit rescues Yami and falls in love with her. As was seen in Sanam Re, here also the two are looking extremely good together. Their chemistry is certainly the highlight of the film and the romantic numbers are to add more spice to it. The trailer only gives a glimpse about how they fall in love. There is no hint about how the separation happens.
It will hit the screens on June 24, and is expected to showcase a praiseworthy performance at the box office!
