With the Lenovo owned Motorola launching its Moto G4 and G4 Plus in India, we've now got two more choices when it comes to budget premium smartphones.
It is to note that Moto G4 happens to be the entry-level smartphone and is the heir to Motorola's admired third generation Moto G 2015 devices. After releasing its Moto G4 Plus, Motorola has now launched the lesser priced version, Moto G4, in the Indian market on June 22, 2016. The two models nearly share all the features, except for storage and camera.
Though Lenovo-owned Motorola has not revealed G4 price, it is not going to be very different as compared to Moto G4 Plus which is available for a range of 13,499 and Rs. 14,999. Going as per the reports, G4 can be assumed to be priced around Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 13,000. At this price, G4 will certainly get to compete against much popular devices like Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and OnePlus X.

All new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Moto G4 come with 5.5-inch display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). As for OnePlus X, it lacks here with 5-inch screen but has sharper display with 1,080x1920 pixels (441 ppi pixel density).
Processor
OnePlus X comes backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, whereas Moto G4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617, whereas Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with Exynos 1.6Ghz octa-core.
Operating system
As for operating system, Galaxy J7 (2016) and Moto G4 Plus run the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system whereas OnePlus X runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Talking of camera, Moto G4 offers you 13MP rear snapper which has f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash with 5MP front-camera for selfies which too is backed with f/2.2 aperture. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a 13MP primary camera backed by f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash, along with 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, and OnePlus X comes with 13MP main camera which has f/2.2 aperture, 1/3" sensor size and 1.14 µm pixel size features. For selfies, it has 8MP front-snapper which has f/2.4 aperture.
Battery
The Moto G4 Plus has 3,000mAh with Turbo charger, Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a 3,300mAh battery, while OnePlus X has a 2,525 mAh.
Verdict
Looking at the display, three of them share the same features, while one offer sharper picture the other two have bigger screens. In terms of processor, OnePlus X scores higher and shares same storage like that of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). Moto G4 leads in terms of battery as its Turbo charger allows the smartphone to run for 6 hours with only 15 minutes of charging.
