A new entry level Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone with 5-Inch display, powered by quad-core processor, has been launched by Intel at just Rs. 3,999. The dual sim smartphone is for now listed on company's website in Champagne, Grey and White colours. and is expected to be available for buying soon.
The Aqua Sense supports 3G connectivity and comes with a 5-inch dsplay with a screen resolution of 480x854 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor and is coupled with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. Although, it supports expandable storage via a miroSD card.
It flaunts a 2-megapixel rear camera on the back and a 0.3-megapixel in the front and Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, is supported by the phone. The smartphone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Previous year, Intex unveiled Intex Aqua Sense 5.0, and this new Aqua Sense 5.1 looks like the successor of previously launched model.
Intex, last week, also launched the new Aqua View Smartphone, with the company's first virtual reality cardboard, The Eyelet, which was priced at Rs. 8,999. Intex marked it's entry into the virtual reality with the launch of Aqua View Phone.
The company said in a statement, "The phone comes with an in-built cardboard application that allows users to experience the Eyelet VR technology. Eyelet, is the version-2 of Google cardboard and so is compatible with any smartphone."
This smartphone went on sale via offline retailers in the country. The smartphone also sport fingerprint sensor at the home button. The Eyelet cardboard could support smartphones with a screen size up to 6-inches.
Intex Aqua View comes with 2.5D curved glass display, and the in-built cardboard application in Intex Eyelet allow users to experience content in 360 degrees.
