Xiaomi devices are on a hit spree these days as after launching Mi series the company is now back with Mi Max which is going to be launched in India very soon.
Confirming on the same, Xiaomi – the Chinese technology master confirmed about hosting an event in New Delhi on June 30 to declare quite a few details of the device, counting its price and availability.
For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi Max was launched in China last month. It comes in three models -- one has Qualcomm Snapdragon 650, with 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM and it costs 1499 Yuan (approximately $230/Rs. 15,300).
Mi Max’s second model sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 backed by 64GB internal memory and 3GB RAM and it is available for a price of 1699 Yuan (approximately $260/Rs. 17,400).
Lastly, the third model sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 with 128GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM priced at 1999 Yuan (approximately $308/Rs. 20,400).
Though Xiaomi has not revealed the price for Indian market, but it is believed to be somewhere between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000. At this price, the device will compete with more popular ones such as Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy J7 (2016), OnePlus 2, and OnePlus X.

Things to know about Xiaomi Mi Max
It comes with 6.44-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (342 ppi pixel density), and runs MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has expandable memory option up to 200GB through microSD card. The device is packed with 4,850mAh battery. It comes with 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, and a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

OnePlus 2
It has two models, 16GB variant costs Rs. 20,999 and 32GB models comes at Rs. 22,999. It has a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density) which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The device has Adreno 430 GPU and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is packed with 16/64GB internal memory and 3/4GB RAM. It has 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS, a 5MP front-camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 3,300mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016)
It comes for a price of Rs. 13,999 and has 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 720x1,280 pixels (282 ppi pixel density). J5 is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It comes with 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, and expandable storage up to 128GB through microSD card. The device has 3,100mAh battery. It features 13MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash, and 5MP front-camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016)
Next competition in line is J7 which is available for Rs. 15,990 and comes with 5.5-inch display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). It is powered by Exynos 1.6Ghz octa-core processor and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. For storage, it has 16GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 128GB through microSD card.
