Samsung the mobile phone giant is all set to send its first shipment of Samsung Galaxy C5, The First Shipment Kick Starts!
We had last updated you how Samsung is on a run - after launching the 2016 edition of its J series and has launched Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7.
The C5 hot released in China three weeks back and now it's all set for shipment. It is to note that Samsung has launched the new C series and the smartphones as mentioned above are going to be the pioneering handsets in the lot. As expected, the devices got unveiled in China and the sale is most likely to happen soon.
Both the devices have been approved by Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA. As for the specifications, Galaxy C5 is supposed to have the following features:
What to Expect From Galaxy C5?
The Samsung Galaxy C5 leaked images that surfaced online had the model number as SM-C5000. From the images it is clear that Galaxy C5 will be seen sporting 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1,920×1,080 pixels (424 ppi pixel density).
Samsung Galaxy C5 is backed by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and an Adreno 405 GPU.
Moreover, in terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy C5 will sport a 16MP primary unit and 8MP front camera. It will be powered by a 2,600mAh battery and may come with the quick charging feature. The device is said to be weighing 153g and measures 145.9 × 72 × 6.7mm. As for software, it runs the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and would be available in gold color as well apart from the regular shades Samsung devices are generally available in.
As for connectivity, Galaxy C5 would support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS/ BDS, NFC, and microUSB v2.0.
And lastly, it will come at a price tag of 2199 Yuan (around $335 / Rs. 22,500) for the 32GB variant, and 2399 Yuan (around $365 / Rs. 24,500) for the 64GB model.
Galaxy C7 At A Glance
The Samsung Galaxy C7 is seen under the model number as SM - C7000. The device as seen in the images online sports a 5.5 - inch Full HD capacitive touch screen display with screen resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has the dual SIM service from Samsung which allows it to connect with 4G LTE.
Furthermore, it comes powered by Octa - Core 1.5 GHz Cortex - A53 processor which is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled by Adreno 506 GPU. The new Samsung Galaxy C5 comes pre-equipped with the most recent and best ever Android v6.0.1 - Marshmallow OS.
