ZUK is a Chinese Internet company and is quite in line with the likes of LeEco and Xiaomi. Dealing majorly in internet stuff, the company isn’t recognized in the world of smartphones and often gets sidelined. This is the prime reason that it didn’t get to compete with the rivals as well. However, ZUK is ready for a new start as the company is now backed by Lenovo. Interestingly, ZUK can still function on its own and doesn’t require following Lenovo’s designs and pattern of building smartphones.
Unveiling its personalized making, it recently launched its newest venture in India - the Lenovo ZUK Z1. The device was specifically tagged as For India. And after winning much accolade for it, the company is ready with its next as Z2, which is said to be a generic model of the recently launched flagship Z2 Pro in Beijing on May 31.

Z2 At A Glance
The all new ZUK 2 is a fully metal-clad device that comes with a dense 5.0-inch full HD LCD screen backed by 2.5D curved glass cover and also comes with the new generation U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint scanner that is said to be decked with a super fast response time of less than 0.1 seconds. Isn’t it something very impressive?
Moving on, this device is backed by Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 820 series quad-core SoC (System-on-Chip). For the storage purpose, ZUK Z2 comes with 4GB RAM and opulent 64GB inbuilt memory. It is to note that the device sports a 3500mAh battery which stands to be 500mAh more than the earlier model.
In terms of camera, we can see ZUK Z2 endowing a feature-rich 13MP primary camera. Its camera is indeed impressive as it has many loved features that make your photography experience a lot of fun and full of quality. The camera of ZUK Z2 comes with an impressive ISOCELL sensor; it also has the EIS, f/2.2 aperture, backed by LED flash, PDAF+CAF (0.1 seconds autofocus). For better picture quality, it also has the 5 physical lens and is highly capable of HDR, 4K video recording.
For the selfie lovers, the device offers a front camera of 5MP with f/2.0 aperture that has wide-angle lens.
Price and Availability
Next we come to its price which apparently will play one of the key factors in deciding its course in the market. If go by the company sources, the all new Lenovo ZUK Z2 is probable to go on sale from June 7, 2016 and the first flagship sale would happen in China. It is going to be priced ¥1799 (approximately $273/€245/Rs. 18,403). Those who are interested in registering for the device can do so starting from today. As for the global release of the device, we are yet to hear a word from the company’s end.
But given the affordable price and amazing features, we can expect it to be a big hit in the global market too!
