1. Sultan
This is undoubtedly the most awaited and desired movie of 2016. After charming audiences across globe with his lovable act in Bajrangi Bhaijaan - Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan is coming as Sultan. Based on wrestling, Sultan stars Anushka Sharma as the leading lady opposite Salman. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan is produced by Yash Raj Films and would release on July 7.

Moving on, the next release in July is Happy Bhaag Jayegi which stars the Cocktail girl Diana Penty. After a long gap, you'll even get to see Abhay Deol who's paired opposite Diana. The film also stars Momal Sheikh and Ali Fazal. Directed by Mudassir Aziz, the film will hit the screens on July 15.

3. Madaari
Ever since the trailer launch, Madari has created a lot of stir. Thanks to Irrfan's impeccable performance, the trailer had increased anxiety and excitement for the film. This one also happens to be a suspense drama and stars Jimmy Shergill and Tushar in pivotal roles. Directed by acclaimed director Nishikant Kamat, the film will release on July 15.

5. Fever

6. Dishoom
If you're fond of action dramas with a pinch of comedy, Dishoom is surely the one to look out for. The film stars John Abraham,Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Ram Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri and Akshaye Khanna in leading roles. The trailer of Dishoom has already won appreciation and the first outing of John and Varun is winning appreciation from tinsel town. Dishoom is directed by Rohit Dhawan who had earlier directed Desi Boyz starring John and Akshay Kumar. The film is set to release on July 29.

Of all the seven films mentioned in this list, Sultan, Dishoom and Madari are the strongest contenders given the star cast.
