Smartphone maker OnePlus has made a good name for itself rolling out some budget friendly devices over the recent years. And now it's in news for its impending smartphone OnePlus 3 which the company claims to be one flagship killer quite like its predecessor OnePlus 2 launched in 2015.
Ever since OnePlus 3 has been announced, it has been hogging lot of attention. The device is expected to be loaded with some striking features as compared to OnePlus 2. There are said to be many upgrades made in OnePlus3, so here we've got for you five things that OnePlus 3 is expected to feature and that would make it different from OnePlus 2.
So, here are the things to look for:
1. Release date: Reports have confirmed that OnePlus 3 would get launched at 12:30 pm on 14, June 2016. Its first open sale would roll out at 3:00 pm (Eastern Time) on June 14 only. Fascinatingly, the announcement event of OnePlus 2 would happen virtually through Loop VR headsets that OnePlus had earlier provided to its fans.
2. Display: As speculated, the all new OnePlus 3 would feature 5.5-inch AMOLED full HD display with 1,080×1,920 pixel (401 ppi pixel density). The device would measure 152.6×74.6×7.3 mm in dimension, and weigh 160 grams. These details were let out by TENAA.
3. Hardware: Next thing in focus is the hardware of the device. News has it that OnePlus 3 will come backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It is highly notable that this processor has been in common with other of the flagships such as Samsung Galaxy S7, Xiaomi Mi 5, LG G5 and HTC 10 all of which got released in 2016. As for operating system, OnePlus 3 is to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and should be eligible for an upgrade to Android N.
4. Storage: Moving on, the next is storage where OnePlus 3 will roll out six different variants. Three of its models will have 4GB RAM and 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of internal memory. The other three will sport 6GB RAM along with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage.
5. Camera and battery: Last but definitely not the least, OnePlus 3 will sport 16MP main camera, an 8MP front-camera with 3,000mAh battery.
As per ndroidWorld, OnePlus 3 is going to be priced at 2,999 Yuan which will be nearly $455/Rs. 30,600 during its initial flash sale. However, this surely isn't the final price.
If the said price goes above 2,999 Yuan, users will have to pay extra and if goes below the stated price then they'll be paid the difference back. Also, once the registration starts, users will have the choice of pulling out from the deal within seven working days if they face any dissatisfaction from the product.
Currently, all are waiting for the device to get launched as only then one can get to know of OnePlus 3 in detail. Tomorrow is the day when the device will be out in market and we would be able to make out if this actually would be a worth buy!
