Chinese technology giant- Asus seems to be looking for some major expansion in terms of its smartphone network. With its Zen series, Asus has eyed a prominent win in the world of smartphone. Its Zen series has already been bagging the attention from every quarter- but for all right reasons. The phone is touted to solve the major problem every smartphone user encounters these days i.e. longer battery life.
Asus promises to solve this with its Zen series and next in line from this humongous smartphone developer happens to be ZenFone 3 which as we all know is going to be the descendant of Asus' ZenFone 2 which had hit the market a year back.
Going per the reports doing the rounds, Asus' ZenFone 3 - touted to be the next generation device, will see its mega launch on May 30 that means we don't have to wait for long to see this smart device in the market. The launch even is supposed to take place during the post lunch hours and is most likely to begin at 2:00 PM. The timing has made way for speculations that the launch of ZenFone 3 might happen simultaneously with the live-streaming of the device on Asus' website.
The Asus ZenFone 3 is going to be available in two variants: ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe both of which are said to have an aluminum body. These details were revealed after some pics of the devices were leaked online.
Specifications To Look For
The launch still has time to go, but as the leaked images have surfaced, we can definitely look at some of the probable features the device would have. It's stated that ZenFone 3 has a 5.5-inch screen, whereas the Delux variant sports a 5.9-inch screen. Both the devices would probably run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and would have 3GB RAM along with USB Type-C ports.
Two of the devices from Asus sporting model number as Asus Z012D and Asus Z010DD were earlier seen on GFXBench listing.
The Asus Z012D, supposed to be ZenFone 3 has a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with 1920x1,080 pixels, a 1.7GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. Speculations are rife that the features as sported by the new ZenFone are simply amazing and are sure to win big in the market.
The other model that was seen had number Asus Z010DD and this is said to be the deluxe model which will apparently have 5.9-inch HD display with 1,280x720 pixels, backed by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. This model is also said to have Adreno 405 GPU and would run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Talking of the memory, the device would have 32GB internal memory with 2GB/3GB RAM. Asus ZenFone 3Delux will have a 12MP primary camera, and a 5MP front-snapper.
Things would be crystal clear once the phone gets launched on May 30- as only then we would be able to bring out the final verdict as to which of the two Asus ZenFone variants would win the race!
