Leaked Images of Xiaomi Mi Max Hint At Key Design & Features Just Ahead Of Launch

All Xiaomi enthusiasts were in for a pleasant surprise when they came across some leaked photos of Xiaomi's Mi Max – designated for a launch on May 10.

This image is said to have revealed some of the key features that Xiaomi Mi Max is expected to possess.  As seen in the snap, the smartphone gives you an impression of ex- flagship Mi 4 series. Interestingly, before this pic came by, buzz was rife that Xiaomi Mi Max would exactly be same Mi Note – which it definitely isn't.

The soon to be launched device has three back-lit capacitive buttons which function for return, home and recent. These buttons are placed at the bottom of display and there is also one metal-based frame around the border.

Despite the fact that the image is quite clear, we still can't judge whether the device has a 6.4-inch screen which was contemplated on the internet. However, one thing is for sure that the screen is certainly above 5.0 inches as one can note the size of a computer keyboard in the backdrop.

This leaked image has made techies churn their expert minds & think of the supposed features Xiaomi Mi Max would finally come up with. So, let's check out what this one might have in store for us:

• Going by the image that has surface on the World Wide Web, Mi Max is said to have a full-HD (1920x1080p) display. The device would function on the most liked Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-backed MIUI v7.0 OS. It will also have one Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core (ARMv8-based Cortex A72 x 6) CPU, a GPU of Adreno 510.
• Talking of the storage capacity of the device, it is supposed to have a 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory.
• Moving on to one of the most sought after features of smartphones these days – Camera, the Mi Max will possibly have 16MP primary camera backed with a 5MP front-cam.

Interestingly, along with Mi Max, its counterpart Mi Band 2's image too has been leaked online – for the uninitiated, this device too was supposed to go live on the same day as Mi Max.

The pic that has come out, Mi Band 2 is seen with a yellow-colored strap and a black display unit which shows the time as well as battery level.

This addition is considered as one of the prime features in the device as the precursor of it had just three LED lights. In Mi Band 1, users were required to connect the device to a smartphone in order to know of the fitness statistics. But the descendant will straightaway show the details on its own screen. However, it is yet to be seen if Mi Band 2 would continue be the pocket-friendly device as the former one.

So far these images have certainly raised the curiosity bar and users are eagerly waiting for the launch to happen so as to get a hand on the features of both Mi Max & Mi Band 2. It would be interesting to see how far the speculations prove right.
