New Delhi, Wed, 25 May 2016 NI Wire

In the past, affordable smartphones apparently made you think of Motorola. The company was leading the league by belting out various mid-range devices. However, it had to step back given the prominence of other companies like Xiaomi, Meizu, Micromax and Coolpad.

But now it seems that Motorola is back in the game with its Moto G4 plus. The Lenovo-owned Motorola recently launched the fourth generation of its Moto G series on May 17. The device is all set to compete with the mighty ones in the market and as per the stats; its strong competitors would be Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo ZUK Z1.

And like always, we will help you understand the three in a better way to figure out which handset would be worthy of its price.

Cameras have indeed turned to be a fundamental part of smartphones these days and to an extent they even prove to be one of the deciding factors. In this case, Moto G4 plus, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo ZUK Z1 have similar camera configurations. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 16-MP main camera with PDAF, dual ISP, dual-tone LED flash and HDR with 5MP front-camera backed by 36 smart beauty profiles that offer good selfies.

Though all run Android, it's just Moto G4 Plus which has the up-to-the-minute Marshmallow update. Lenovo ZUK Z1 is backed by Cyanogen OS 12.1 and Redmi Note 3 runs MIUI 7.

Lenovo ZUK Z1 is available at Rs. 13,499 whereas Redmi Note 3 (3GB+32GB) costs Rs. 11,999. The Moto G4 Plus has two variants: the 2GB RAM+16GB storage is priced Rs. 13,499 while 3GB RAM+32GB storage is available at Rs. 14,999, respectively.
