It was in the year 2014 that Oppo came up with Find 7, and as per the latest buzz, it's all geared up for the release of its successor.
Online world is abuzz with a new handset that has the model number as X9007, and it is believed to be Oppo Find 9. The launch still has time, but so far there have been many details that have got leaked about the Oppo Find 9. So far, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has stayed mum over the release date of Oppo Find 9. But if go by the reports, the company is preparing for its launch event. The previous version was released in May 2014. So, it won't be a surprise if Oppo finalizes the new version to come out by May end or the latest by June.
While we wait to hear for the release date, let us have a look at some of the speculated features the smartphone is said to possess.
Features & Specs
As per GizmoChina, some primary specifications of the handset with model number X9007 were spotted on AnTuTu listing. The leaked images that have surfaced so far hint at Find 9 sporting a 1,920x1,080p screen resolution backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It is expected to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Adreno 530.
In regards to memory and storage, Oppo Find 9 will come with 32GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM. It is yet to be seen if the device has room for storage expansion.
Coming to camera, Oppo Find 9 will sport a 16MP main camera with a 4MP front-snapper. So far it has been stated that the device will be priced around $616 but we can't lock it to be the final price unless an official launch is made.
It is interesting to note that the features as speculated in Oppo Find 9 contradict with that of listed on AnTuTu. On this website, Find 9 is shown with 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen, MediaTek Helio P10 processor backed by ARM Mali-T860 GPU. Here the device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with a 64GB internal memory with 4GB RAM, as well as a five-finger sensor.
Reports further state that Oppo, in an attempt to compete with the premium smartphones in the market, is likely to introduce the quickest charging technology with Oppo Find 9. During the launch of "Super VOOC Flash Charge" held at the MWC 2016, the company had claimed that the device can power a 2,500mAh-battery phone from 0 to 100 percent just in 15 minutes.
As of now, we don't really have a clear picture about Oppo Find 9. With so many speculations doing the round, it would certainly be difficult to predict as to which one is true.
The only thing we can be sure of now is that Oppo 9 will surpass Oppo 7 in terms of design, built and functionality. And we really hope that Oppo lives up to the expectations and seizes the market completely with Oppo Find 9.
