This month seems to be all dedicated to new flagships and launches. Be it the bigwigs in the industry or the rising ones - everybody is coming out with some amazing range of smartphones decked with the latest of features.
Following the suit next is Meizu, which has now released its m3 note in India. The device is available at a price range of Rs. 9,999. As revealed during the launch even, Meizu m3 note would be available for purchase on Amazon India from May 31, 2016. And the registrations for the same have already kick started today, May 11.
It is notable that Meizu had earlier released two models of its m3 note in China. One of the variants has 2GB RAM plus 16GB of internal storage, whereas the other comes with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Reports state that it's the 3GB RAM version of m3 note that has been released in India. The major highlight of this new device launched in India is its 4100mAh battery.
We can pass on a verdict on its performance only once the phone is out for sale and we get to check every detail minutely. But for now, we can surely check out the specifications it offers.
Specs & Features
Meizu m3 note runs Flyme 5 OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and backs dual Micro-SIM cards (GSM+CDMA). The display is 5.5-inch full-HD with 1080x1920 pixels and LTPS display of 403ppi pixel density. The device is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC (1.8GHz quad-core Cortex-A53, and 1GHz quad-core Cortex-A53). It supports expandable storage through hybrid dual-SIM. However, it is still not known what its maximum storage capacity is.
As mentioned, the device supports dual SIMS and both the SIMS would connect to 4G network at the same time. Other than the 4G support, Meizu m3 note also provides Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity choices.
Available in gold, grey and silver color choices, the device also has accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope and magnetometer sensors. The phone weighs 163 grams and measures 153.6x75.5x8.2mm.
Camera
Coming to camera, Meizu m3 note has 13-MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture plus PDAF autofocus. Its primary camera has Corning Gorilla 3 lens protective glass. For selfies it has 5-MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device also has a fingerprint sensor backed by mTouch 2.1 technology and it's capable of recognizing fingerprints in 0.2 seconds.
Meizu is looking to have a firm foot in the Indian market and with m3 note it has certainly taken a good leap. However, what the future has in store for Meizu is something we'll have to wait and watch for.
If so far the specifications have captivated you and you want to have a phone in the price range of Rs. 9,999, this certainly can be a better buy. And as we said in the beginning, registrations for this device are currently going on Amazon India.
