As Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all praise for each other
Mumbai: When Kangana Ranaut skipped the royal dinner hosted with the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge held on Sunday to attend a private dinner instead hosted by her Rangoon co-star Saif Ali Khan and actor-wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, it left many wondering why? But as surprising and unbelievable it may sound for two actresses who are on the top of the game to genuinely bond with each other, the two K stars - Kangana and Kareena - get along fabulously well and are said to be the newest besties in B-Town.
The actresses met each other last year during the 13th HT Leadership Summit in Delhi where the two were part of the panel discussion with Imtiaz Ali. While on stage, they openly praised each other and their work and candidly shared their admiration and respect for each other. But it wasn't just onstage camaraderie, as Kareena and Kangana even flew back home together and bonded over not just films, but family and personal lives, right till they kissed adieu at the airport. An onlooker is said to have shared, “It was a sight for sore eyes to see two of the biggest actresses in Bollywood talk so candidly. They were all smiles, like two little girls. This kind of a friendship between two Bollywood top actresses is a rarity."
And looks like the two girls have continued their friendship since. Their bonding has become the talk of B-Town and the K stars seem to have formed a mutual admiration society. Kangana was all praise for Kareena when R Balki had called her for a special screening of 'Ki & Ka', while Kareena in an interview with a leading daily revealed that the three-time National Award-winner would be her female crush. In fact, not just talent, the two even have been quite candid about praising each other's appearances. Kangana was all gung-ho about Kareena's glow at the recent dinner, while the Kapoor gal praised Bolly Queen's high cheekbones! Well looks like the reigning queens Ka and Ka might have just upped the bestie-bar of B-Town becoming the hottest girl-jodi...
