Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Hindi movie Ki & Ka released today in the box offices all over India. This movie is comedy-drama movie written and directed by R Balki.
In a male dominated society like India its hard to see couples reverse their roles in family but things are changing at least in films if not in society. In order to project the same movie called "KI & KA" released today staring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan and directed by R Balki.
This film is creating buzz by breaking the stereotypes where a man is a home maker and wife is a breadwinner.Story line is unique and fresh though we have seen film in past like "Ghar jamai" which had the similar story plot but not the same.
This film revolves around Kia (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Kabir (Arjun Kapoor). Kia an career oriented woman she believes marriages are designed to destroy woman's career and her dreams whereas kabir whose main goal is to run a house just like his mother.
They both fall in love things goes smooth in there lives as Kabir cooks , cleans and run house in order. Where in Kia becomes VP in her company and support the family financially but things goes crazy in between tension arise ,they fight they make up and go on in their lives together. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have done a cameo in the film.
With such a powerful storyline which is rare in bollywood it seems film is failing to make its own space. Film is failing in story narration and give it a episodic feel .It will be interesting to see the performance of Ki & Ka at the box office where film is getting competition from Kapoor & sons.
