Last month, we had informed you about the release of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 - which was supposed to happen on September 27 earlier. There were reports stating the release of this device from Xiaomi which has been reported to be sharing close similarities with the back panel design of the iPhone 7.
It is notable that instead of releasing the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Xiaomi released is Mi 5s series. And now, sources have come across some images that are supposed to be the teaser pics released by Xiaomi for Mi Note 2.
Details of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Release
The teaser as available is of a black colored Mi Note 2. From the image one can easily make out that the device comes with dual-camera module on its rear panel. Interestingly, the main camera of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 shares great similarity with that of iPhone 7 Plus' dual camera set-up. Not just that the device even shares similar LED position.
The Difference lies in the fact that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flash happens to be dual-tone, whereas in the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, it is quad-tone. Also, in case of Note 2, the device even has the signature logo 'Mi' that is placed under.
As of now, Xiaomi is still not making anything official about Xiaomi Mi Note 2. It's not confirmed about the leaked images of Mi Note 2. As of now, Xiaomi has not made any official comments on the leaked Mi Note 2 teaser.
For the uninitiated, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note has already got certification from Chinese government-operated CCC (China Compulsory Certification). And now it is waiting to get the approval from TENAA, telecom equipment certification authority China. The device would be released as soon as the approval is received, and Xiaomi might even release an official word over it.
Specifications
As known, this device from Xiaomi has been in news since long all because of the teasers which get released time to time. From what we have known about the device so far, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come sporting a 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display with dual-edge curved screen. This shares striking similarity with that of Galaxy S7 edge and the Note7 series.
It is even anticipated that the device will come packed with 3D curved glass, which happens to be an upgraded version of its 2.5D silicon-based guard. This is one feature typically seen in high-end devices to defend display getting dented from the corners.
Under the hood, Xiaomi Mi Note is said to have the Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor paired along with 6GB RAM. It has different variants in terms of internal storage which includes 64GB/128GB/256GB. Coming to the camera part, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sports dual 16MP cameras on the back which has dual-tone LED flash as well as 4-axis OIS (Optical Image Stabiliser). For selfies, the device comes with 8MP front camera and is said to be housing a 4,000mAh battery.
From the specifications, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 does make for a decent buy and we hope to come across more details about the device once it is made official!
