One of its lenses captures monochrome images with lofty contrast, while the other captures an RGB photo. The images are further processed by the device to bring out the best results. For selfies, there is one 8MP camera which has f/2.4 aperture; and does a great job even under low light conditions. One can notice that most users face problem with using camera under low lit situations, and Honor 8 does bring in a fresh change here.
2. EMUI 4.1
Honor 8 brings in company's customized ROM based Android Marshmallow, which is known as Emotion UI or EMUI. Its newest version (4.1) though has similar features like the Android but it even brings some new aspects such as Now on Tap and some other customizable apps. Its interface is less complicated and comes with its own icons. It offers you the Link+ and Wi-Fi+ which apparently lets you have the best network every time.
The all new Honor 8 comes with 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor which is complemented by Mali-T880 GPU and a RAM of 4GB. The device can easily handle multitasking, be it playing games, watching movies and videos, or surfing net; everything happens smoothly because of the powerful processor.
Another highlighting feature of the Honor 8 is its battery, which easily gets charged to 45% in only 30 minutes. You can run the device for one whole day under dingle charge and enjoy normal usage without any trouble.
Even if watching videos, the device can last for 11 hours and 7 minutes. There is ROG power saving mode which helps when you need to save some power and are running short of battery.
5. Design and Build
Huawei Honor 8 comes with an amazing design, and has a flawless finish. The device has a complete metal body that comes with 2.5D glass protection at the rear and front part of the device. Its edges have a refined metal finish, which apparently makes the device look regal. Honor 8 looks very chic, and particularly its gold model is a class apart. The device weighs 153 grams, but is pretty light to hold. Its volume and power buttons are located at the top, towards the right. The glass shield however makes the device slippery and prone to accidental falls. But it's not a major issue as you can combat it by using a chic cover.
In all, the device does offer amazing features at this price range and wins heart with its premium design. Those who love classy devices, Honor 8 is a safe choice.
