Things may have not worked as planned for Samsung, as far as Galaxy Note 7 is concerned. But it hasn't really stopped the South Korean technology giant from unveiling new flagships. For those unaware, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices were first recalled owing to some battery issue. Later, Samsung had relaunched the device after resolving the trouble.
Sadly, the problems remained persistent with Galaxy Note 7 users facing more battery woes. This apparently made Samsung scrap the flagship considering user safety. It is yet to be seen what future awaits the Galaxy Note 7.
Meanwhile, buzz has it that Samsung has planned for the release of many flagships, and a particular series is said to be under works. One such flagship happens to be the Galaxy J3 2017, which is heard to have been shipped to India for testing.
It is notable that prior to Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017), we had first come across the release of Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy C9. Both these smartphones were seen on Zauba, which takes care of import and export.
Upcoming Galaxy J3 (2017) was also seen on this, which made it clear that Samsung is planning to release another budget device in the country.
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) At A Glance
Let us have a look at the device and see what all features it is expected to bring along. Sources report that the all new Galaxy J3 (2017) sports the model number SM-J327V and comes at a highly affordable price of Rs 6,843. As seen on the Zauba website, the device is supposed to be having 5-inch screen. However, the other details are still under wraps.
Earlier, the device was spotted on TENAA, which happens to Chinese certification agency. Over there, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) had carried two model numbers: SM-J3119 was particularly for China whereas SM-J3110 was for the international markets. The reports suggested that the device comes with 5-inch display, clocked at a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, teamed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which is further expandable.
Moreover, it is expected to have 8MP main camera with LED flash, for selfies it will sport 5MP front camera. Coming to battery, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is said to come with 2,600mAh to power up the device. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ZUI 2.0 as an interface.
Interestingly, these anticipated features of the Galaxy J3 (2017) completely match with that of the existing Galaxy J3 model that got released in March 2016. However, the Galaxy J3 (2017) model is said to be supporting 4G LTE, which apparently is one upgraded feature.
So far this is what we have gathered about the Galaxy J3 (2017). Talking of the release, though it is sure that the release is to happen really soon; Samsung has not yet disclosed the exact date. As for its other premium feature devices, Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy C9, the release is supposed to happen in the beginning of 2017. One can expect that Samsung would announce J3 (2017) release after the launch of these devices.
