Mumbai, July 03, 2015: India's first carbon neutral film, 'Aisa Yeh Jahaan' has done it again! After winning an Award at the International Film Festival for Environment, Health & Culture 2015, the film has now been nominated in two categories at the prestigious Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards. 'Aisa Yeh Jahaan' features in the list of Best Feature Films and Best Ensemble Cast categories.
'Aisa Yeh Jahaan' has been representing India at the film festival for the month of June. The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards is a monthly film festival that celebrates creative work from around the world with more than 50 awards given away each month to those well deserving film makers from around the world in the heart of Hollywood. They bring out the best short films in the form of Drama, Comedy, Horror, Sci fi, Action, Animation, Commercials, Documentaries, Web-series, Travel films from around the globe and present it all under one roof.
'Aisa Yeh Jahaan (THE WORLD IT IS...)' stars Dr. Palash Sen, Ira Dubey, Yashpal Sharma, Tinnu Anand, Kymsleen Kholie, Saurabh Pandey, Prisha Dabbas. Written and directed by Biswajeet Bora & produced by Maya Kholie under Kholie Entertainment. The film has been co-produced by Kezleen Kholie & Associate Producer Satish Sharma. The film is set for release on July 24, 2015.
Maya Kholie, the producer, is highly self-motivated individual who believes in shepherding the right talent & creating magic in the final output. A member of the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA), she formed a production company - Kholie Entertainment and made the documentary, -Angel of the Aboriginals: Dr Verrier Elwin, in 2009 which has showcased many international film festivals such as "BOLLYWOOD BEYOND FILM FESTIVAL" in Germany, IUAES in Turkey. Now she is producing India's First Carbon Neutral Film - "Aisa Yeh Jahaan".
