According to the information given by the Minister of State, AYUSH(IC), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha, Government has approved for All India Institute of Ayurveda.
A new AIIMS like All India Institute of Ayurveda at Sarita Vihar, New Delhi has been approved by the Government. The construction and the medical equipments are at advance stage of completion.

The Government has approved for establishment of All India Institute of Ayurveda at Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. The Institute has been conceived as an Apex Institute of Ayurveda with 200 bedded referral hospital for imparting education in the field of Ayurveda at M.D. and Ph.D level. The construction activities and procurement of medical equipment and furniture are at an advanced stage of completion
