Mumbai, December 18, 2015: The much awaited trailer of 'Neerja' starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role was released. The video was met with great enthusiasm from fans as it presented a daringly different subject to audiences.
The makers bring the untold story of Neerja - young 23 year old girl who is the youngest Ashoka Chakra award winner in India. Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life while protecting 359 passengers aboard a hijacked PanAm flight 73 in 1986. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays Sonam’s mother in the movie.
Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Neerja' is produced by Bling Unplugged and Fox Star Studios, presented by Fox Star Studios, and the movie is slated to release on February 19th, 2016.
