Randeep Hooda's much awaited film, Main aur Charles is every bit captivated as he turns suspicious, romantic, intelligent, enigmatic, hypnotic and dangerous.
Well, we hear that the cult song 'Jab Chaye Tera Jadoo' which was sung by the legendary singer Asha Bhosle has been recreated by the makers of Main aur Charles!
The makers of the film roped in the sensational singer Kanika Kapoor to sing also will be featured in the song. Apparently, it is a situational song which is played at one of the most important sequences in the film!
The producer Amit Kapoor says,"We needed a song that instantly transports you to the retro era of the 80s, a song which was high on melody as well as makes you instantly groove and a song that personified the flamboyance and the magic of the character Of Charles....And Jab Chaye Tera Jadoo was the song that completely befitted all the above aspects and above all the song has always been a personal favorite too."
Singer Kanika Kapoor says, "It was a challenge for me to re-sing an old song that was a rage of its time. It was not that we had to remix an old song for the modern day. The film is based in the 70s and 80s so we had to make sure that the song still had that retro vibe while still appealed to contemporary listeners today - that was a welcome challenge to recreate a number like Jab Chaye Tera Jadoo without losing its vintage charm. I was equally thrilled to feature in the movie as it is the first time and thankful to Sanjeev Darshan ji and the Entire Team of Main Aur Charles"
