SBI PO Recruitment 2014 - 2986 Posts, Apply online

State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 2986 Probationary Officers (POs) to be placed in various various branches of the Associated Banks of the SBI.

Age Limit:

Age limit applies for this post and candidate's age should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01-09-2014. In other words candidates date of birth should fall between 02-09-1984 and 01-09-1993. There is age relaxation is also applicable as per the Govt. rule.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should possess the Graduation in any of the discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Selection Process:

The selection process would be on the basis of candidates performance in the Objective Test, Descriptive Test, Group discussion and the interview.

Application Fees:

The fee for the candidates belongs to SC/ST/PWD category is Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges only). The fee for others candidates is Rs.500/- which can be paid online or through offline.

Online Method: 

For online payment debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking can be used. After the successful payment the e-receipt will be generated and candidates should take print out of the receipt.

Offline Method:

You should submit the online form and then generate the challan, challan can be paid in any Brach of State Bank of India.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Bank's at www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in from 01-09-2014 to 18-09-2014. After payment confirmation you should take the print out of the recript and keep it for further requirement in the recruitment process.

Instructions to Apply Online:

1. Before applying online you should scan your photograph and the signature
2. Visit the website at https://www.sbi.co.in/portal/web/home/careers-with-us then find the "Apply online" under the section "Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Associate Banks of SBI (2014-15)".
3. Click on the "Apply online" link.
4. In the next page on the top you will find a link "Click here for New Registration", if you don't have the user name and password then you can register here.
5. After creating a account you have to login. If you have already registered in past you can login directly
6. Then fill the required details and submit the form.
7. You will find the option to pay online or pay by challan. If you have credit card or bank login you can pay online and take the print out of the recipt.
8. If you don't have credit card or bank login then you can generate the challan. The challan can be paid in the nearest SBI branch.

After completing the registration and payment process you should keep the receipt for the future record.
