Traders Cell and Chandni Chowk workers contribute relief material

New Delhi, 14th Sept. Truckload of relief material was dispatched for the flood affected people of Jammu-Kashmir from Delhi BJP office today. BJP National Organization General Secretary Shri Ramlal ji, BJP Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay flagged off the truck in the presence of Delhi BJP Organization Secretary Shri Vijay Sharma, National Secretary Sardar R.P. Singh, MP and General Secretary Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, former Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra.

Senior BJP leader Shri Ramlal ji said I feel proud & happy to be a part of BJP family where the workers are themselves coming ahead to contribute in relief work showing the sensitivity of party men towards national calamities.

Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay thanked Party’s Traders Cell office bearers, Chandni Chowk Councilors Shri Tilak Ram Gupta & Smt. Surekha Gupta, Former Councilor Shri Sumar Kumar Gupta and Tibet Residents Forum’s President Shri Karten Tsering for their contribution in today’s relief consignment. He appealed to party workers to now concentrate on contributing woolens as winter is about to set in the hilly state.

Today’s consignment included 300 tents, 4 ton rice, 1 ton pulses, 500 blankets, 5 boxes of women garments, biscuits and water bottles along with medicines worth around Rs. 5,50,000.   

On this occasion large number of party workers including office bearers Shri Ashish Sood, Shri Yogender Chandoliya, Smt. Shikha Rai, Shri Jai Prakash, Traders Cell Convener Shri Kailash Gupta, District Presidents Shri Satpal Bhatia, Shri Virender Babbar, Shri Harbans Uppal, Shri Girish Sachdeva, MLA Shri Anil Sharma were present.
