As the holy month Ramadan ends, the fervor of Eid-ul-Fitr begins today morning and it celebrated with full excitement today. Eid-ul-Fitr is the marks the culmination of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and it is the occasion on which the festival celebrates with full fervor and triumph.
The Eid prayers were offered entire nation this morning in Eidgahs. In various parts of the country the prayers offered at open grounds and the mosques as it is the occasion when people not only pray, but wishes all their relative and other for the occasion for a prosperous and happy Eid.
The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Idu'l Fitr, which is being celebrated tomorrow.
In his message the President has said, "On the auspicious occasion of Idu'l Fitr, I extend warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens, particularly to my Muslim brothers and sisters in India and abroad.
As we celebrate this day which marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan, I hope that the festival with it's tradition of giving and sharing enriches our lives with a spirit of brotherhood and empathy for the deprived.
May Idu'l Fitr reinforce the nation's commitment to mutual harmony and radiate the message of India's composite culture to the whole world".
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
"Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this auspicious day strengthen the bond of peace, unity & brotherhood across our Nation," the Prime Minister said.
