Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a new 12 million-pounds contract with Paris Saint-Germain club, ending growing interest from Manchester City.
Reports say that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has offered Ibrahimovic a 1-year extension to his current deal that would tie him to the French side until 2016 along with a large wage increase.
Manchester City had been showing interest for last few months in Ibrahimovic and was in talk with him.
31-year-old, who fired PSG to the Ligue 1 title last season, will now earn 250,000 pounds-a-week.
Ibrahimovic, who nearly joined Arsenal as a 16-year-old, has previously admitted his desire to play in England, but he looks all but certain to now play out his career with PSG.
