"There is not much when it comes to story in Phata Poster Nikla Hero but film is not about story, it's all about fun, laugh, action, dialogues, sexy Ileana and amazing facial expressions of Shahid Kapoor". Just so you know, Salman has made a cameo appearance in the film.
Story:
Vishwas Rao is an aspiring actor who one day wants to be like his idol Salman Khan. He is big fan of Salman's role in Dabangg movie. However, he has not received much success lately. His mother is a rickshaw driver and thinks that his son is a good cop who fights for justice. Vishwas too fakes that he is a cop to make her happy.
Kajal or Complaint Kajal is social worker who registers FIR against all evil-doers. In one such involvement she meets Vishwas Rao and thinks that he is a cop. Vishwas too lies to impress her.
All these lies land Vishwas Rao in lot of trouble both with police and bad people and thus start the fun.
Review:
It's all in all Shahid Kapoor film and he owns it. His expressions are amazing, flawless and unique every single time. He can do comedy, he can fight and he can act. His presence on screen is not like Salman but he has different way of handling things.
Ileana D Cruz is looking amazingly hot and sexy in the movie even though she is a social worker. She can act and her expressions are quite good when it comes to emotional and romantic scenes but not that well when it comes to comedy scenes.
Rajkumar Snatoshi has tried to mix his Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani with Dabangg. But because it didn't have a strong story or good punch lines, it looks a little weak.
Overall if you are looking for some fun, lighthearted movie or are fans of Shahid kapoor then this movie is for you.
