Model turned bollywood actresses Minissha Lamba and Sonal Chauhan will walk the ramp during the inauguration ceremony of North East Design Fest 2013, which is begin from 19th Sept in Delhi and will run up to 22nd Sept.
North East Design Fest is being organised by NEIFT in association with Ministry of Textiles and the four day extravaganza will feature Fashion Shows, Cultural Program, Handloom, Handicraft, Jute Exhibition and Live Band Performances to allure the visitors.
The fest will be inaugurated by Dr. K. S Rao Minister of Textiles, Sri R. P. N Singh, Minister of State for Home Affairs in presence of Srimati Pranatee Phukan, Minister of Handloom and Textiles, Govt of Assam on Thursday, 19 September, 2013 at Select CITYWALK Mall, Saket, New Delhi.
North East Design Fest is presented by the by Ministry of Textiles with the support of Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Home Affairs, Handicrafts NEDF brings to you the flavours of eight beautiful, exotic and to an extent unexplored states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim to the capital with the fest.
The festival will act as a curtain raiser to showcase the talents of Designers, Performing artists, Artisans, Craftsmen, Weavers coming from different parts of the versatile North East region.
