Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor believes that in today’s times parents are not the one who can look for suitable brides for their sons and when it comes to choosing his would-be-bride, it will be his choice.
30-year-old said, "First of all, I want to make it clear that mummy is not looking for a bride for me. I am doing it for myself".
Ranbir Kapoor talked about his recent relationship with Katrina Kaif while promoting his forthcoming release "Besharam" on the sets of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC).
Neetu Singh said, "I don't think that in today's times mothers look for suitable brides for their sons. He will do it on his own. It's his life. We only want them to be happy".
Interestingly Neetu will be seen matching steps with Amitabh Bachchan on song Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu.
Ranbir also made some revelation about his film.
Directed by Abhinav Kashyap, "Besharam" is set to release Oct 2 and it sees Ranbir teaming up with his parents - dad Rishi and mom Neetu - for the first time on the big screen.
Kaun Banega Crorepati episode having Ranbir and Neetu as guest will air on 22 September 2013.
