Good news for all those Batman fans out there, Ben Affleck will don the role of Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Warner Brother’s movie where Superman will unite Batman to fight crime and injustice.
There were great doubts after Christian Bale declined to play the character after Batman Trilogy of Christopher Nolan. Warner Bros were finding it difficult to replace Bale but Ben Affleck seems to be a good choice.
Greg Silverman, President of Warner Brothers released a statement that read, “We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some”.
Director of Man of Steel, Zack Snyder will also direct the Superman-Batman movie which will release on July 17, 2015.
Henry Cavill will reprise the role of Superman in the movie.
Amy Adams and Diane Lane will also be seen reprising their respective roles in the movie.
After Avengers in which many superheroes united to fight super villain, this movie is much awaited as everyone want to see how the comic characters Superman-Batman are brought to life on screen.
