Story:
In terms of Gru and three daughters he has adopted Margo, Edith and Agnes, story of Despicable Me 2 is a continuation of the first part. Gru has now become responsible and caring. He has replaced his evil home into a jelly making factory and is living a happy life.
Things changes as Top Research Laboratory in the Artic Circle get stolen mysteriously by a Super Vilain. Anti-Vilain League needs Gru's help to find the villain so they send Lucy Wilde an AVL agent to bring him in. The lab contains a mutating chemical compound, PX-41 that can change people into killing machines and AVL wants to retrieve it before anything serious happens.
Though Gru refuses to help at first, later some circumstances makes him agree to help AVL. The suspect lists and place narrows down to people working in The Paradise Shopping Mall. Gru believes that an Eduardo working in the Mall is the person behind the crime and is actually a super villain of the past El-Macho who faked his death. AVL believes the villain is Floyd-Eagle San.

Review:
Despicable Me 2 is one step ahead of the original Despicable Me. It is funny, interesting and the directors and producers have not repeated any plot. The story is interesting and keeps you engaged.
Gru is not the old villain anymore, though he was good at it. However, the changed Gru is equally amazing and lovable. Lucy's character adds the love and emotion to the movie.
Three girls are also loving. Minions are funny though some parts are stretched a little.
Overall the animation, new villain, the theft and everything about Despicable Me 2 is amazing and it is a must watch movie.
