The first trailer of Apoorva Lakhia directorial film 'Zanjeer' is out. The film is a remake of 1973 blockbuster of the same name and has been alsoshot in Telugu.
The film stars popular Tollywood actor Ram Charan, which will be also his debut in Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra will be also seen in the lead role.
But the surprise package in the film will be Sanjay Dut, who is playing the role of Sher Khan, which was played by Pran in the earlier version. The trailer also shows Sanjay dut repeating the same dialogue of Pran: "Mai beimaani ka kaam bhi imaandaari se karta hun"
While actor Ram Charan will play the role of Amitabh Bachchan's part of 1973's Zanjeer as an police inspector, it seems that the role of Priyanka Chopra is different from Jaya Amitabh Bachchan's role of earlier version.
Moreover, the trailer looks quite promising with lots of action and explosions, which indicate that the film is going to be a fill-fledge action drama.
Zanjeer has been produced by RelianceEntertainment, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Sumeet Prakash Mehra and Flying Turtle Films and Co-Produced by Rampage Motion Pictures.
The film stars Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj , Sanjay Dutt , Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni and scheduled to be released on September 6.
