Ex-boyfriend of famous Bollywood actress and model Jiah Khan, who reportedly commit suicide last month, Sooraj Pancholi, who is also the son of Bollywood couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, Monday got bail from Bombay High Court.
Sooraj was seeking bail from Bombay HC after he was arrest by the Mumbai Police in the connection of abetting her girl friend Jiah Khan for suicide. Earlier a session court had rejected his plea on June 21.
The Bombay High Court order Sooraj to pay a surety of Rs.50,000, surrender his passport and report to police whenever required for investigations. He was arrested June 11.
He was charged with abetting Jiah's suicide after the actress' family recovered a letter penned by her a few days after her death last month.
The New York-born Nafisa Khan alias Jiah - who acted in blockbusters like "Ghajini" - was found hanging at her home here shortly before midnight of June 3.
